Week 16 Rookie Review
Dec 23rd – 29th
Justin Herbert: 21/33 253 Yards 1 TD 4 rush 26 yards
Since taking over as the QB1 in week 2, Herbert has been lights out. In week 16 Herbert passed Baker Mayfield to take ownership of the rookie passing touchdowns record at 28. Needing 340 yards in week 17 to overtake Andrew Lucks rookie passing yards record, Justin Herbert will be trying to cement himself in NFL history with what could be the greatest rookie season ever for a quarterback.
Autos: $400 - $3900
Silver Prizm: $1195
Tua Tagovailoa: 17/22 94 yards 1 TD 3 rushes 11 yards
Tua played well week 16, showing that he is still the game manager that won multiple National Championships at Alabama, however the Dolphins needed something more explosive to win the game and ultimately sat Tua for the veteran Fitzpatrick.
Tua is still very much a work in progress and has shown he can handle the speed and play of the NFL. Look for Tua to continue to develop, as starting in 2021, he will be the franchise quarterback for the Miami Dolphins.
Autos: $157- $1851
Silver Prizm: $281
Jalen Hurts: 21/39 342 Yards 1 TD 9 Rushes 69 yards
Jalen Hurts has been electric since taking the starting role from Carson Wentz, throwing for 5 touchdowns and running for 1 more. He has had back to back weeks of 400+ total yards, getting it done in the air and on the ground.
Hurts will likely be in a QB Battle with Wentz this offseason, but the eagles could look to move on from Wentz and his huge contract, leaving QB1 responsibilities to Hurts.
Auto: $118-$700
Silver Prizm: $250
CeeDee Lamb: 3 rec 65 yards 1 TD 1 rush 19 yards 1 TD
CeeDee Lamb was on fire week 16, scoring touchdowns through the air and on the ground.
He looks to be a figure head in the offense next to Amari Cooper and Zeke.
While Andy Dalton has done a decent job filling in for Dak Prescott, Look for Lamb to explode next year when his skills and speed will be able to be utilized to their fullest.
Autos: $60 - $237
Silver Prizm: $75
Jonathan Taylor: 18 rushes 74 yards 2 TDs
Jonathan Taylor had tough sledding against one of the top run defenses in the league in the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He still managed to find the endzone twice and give the colts a fighting chance in their hunt for the post season.
Taylor looks set to be a lead back next season, taking the role of bell cow from Marlon Mack.
Autos: $30 – $114
Silver Prizm: $29
Tee Higgins: 6 rec 99 yards 1 TD
Tee Higgins has continued to produce even after the loss of Joe Burrow to injury.
Tee filled in for an injured Tyler Boyd week 16 to be the teams WR1, pulling down 6 of nine passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.
He figures to be the second option for Burrow in 2021 after Boyd, but if he continues to develop as he has, then he might be pushing for the top spot sooner than later.
Autos: $30 -$115
Silver Prizm: $30
AJ Dillon: 21 carries 124 yards 2 TDs 1 rec 5 yards
Stuck behind Aaron Jones for most of the year, AJ Dillon was given a chance to play in the snow week 16, and he made the most of it.
With free agency pending for Aaron Jones, there is a good chance that the packers will not be retaining his services in 2021, which opens up a big opportunity for Dillon.
If he can show week 16 was not a fluke, he could be looking at Bell Cow territory come 2021.
Autos: $45 - $150
Silver Prizm: $26
